Uploading Files to a Project

Once you have a project, you can add files to send to your clients

Since Filepass is all about sharing files, we've made this super easy!

The most common audio formats are supported, including .wav, .mp3, .flac and even ZIP archives!

To get started, navigate to the project you want to add files to:

If you want to add the files to a particular folder, navigate to that folder – otherwise just drag the files into the root of the project from Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows):

Once you've dragged the file to the Filepass window, it will begin uploading.

Auto-Publish

If you have auto-publish turned on, it will publish automatically once the upload is finished.
If auto-publish is not on, you have to manually publish the files for your client to see!

To do this, click the green "publish changes" button in the upper left:

Then, you have the option of charging for new files uploaded to the project. To do this, check the "Charge for files uploaded since last publish on xx/xx/xxxx" box, add your price, and add a description for the line item:

Once that's finished, click the purple "publish" button and your files are ready to send to the client!

Note that if auto-publish is turned on you won't have this option, and need to set any price using the "edit project balance" from the main project page. Additionally, if you haven't set up your Stripe account to work with Filepass you won't be able to collect payments.

To send the folder link to the client, click the "copy client FOLDER link" button, then send the link:

Alternately, if you want to send a link to the entire project, navigate to the main project page and use the client PROJECT link. Or, to send a link to the specific file, navigate to the file and get the FILE link there.
