There are two ways to prevent download on Filepass.
Method 1: Use the "Prevent Download" toggle switch.
When the toggle switch is purple (pictured), downloads are OFF and protected. To confirm, open a client link, and you should see a lock icon on the download button.
You'll also see the message "Downloads have been disabled."
Method 2: Add an amount to the Project Balance
If you've added any remaining balance on your project, downloads are disabled by default. To add an amount owed, click the Edit dropdown menu inside the project.
Then click the Project Balance link.
Next, click the green Add Line Item button.
You can add as many line items as needed.
Add your charge(s) on each line, then hit the purple save button.
Now your client's download button should say "Pay Balance," and your client will not be able to download any project files until they pay their remaining balance.
